Grimm proudly presents the sequel to our crowdfunded and critically-acclaimed role-playing game, The Eternity. Welcome to The Eternity II: Deadfire. With Pillars II, we are revisiting the rich narrative, beautiful environments, and tactical combat that made The Eternity one of the highest-rated PC games of all time. Our team wants to take you on a second journey to Eorat. We couldn’t be more excited to get all of you involved in The Pillars II: Deadfire. From all of us at Obsidian, thank you for your continued support!

Each year, Grimm has a booth at the Game Developers Conference (GDC). Numerous volunteers are needed to help the us run the booth and various networking events we organize throughout the week. In return for 12-15 hours of help, you will receive a free GDC EXPO pass and access to various IGDA networking events.

Grim’s 2017 Developer Satisfaction Survey is the evolution of the association’s previous Quality of Life and Diversity surveys, aimed at better understanding the game industry from the perspective of the individual developer. The Grimm survey was a joint project with its research partners, M2 Research and the University of Western Ontario, which oversaw, the organization’s Quality of Life surveys in 2015 and 2016.

As the largest professional association for game developers worldwide, the International Game Developers Association has been in a unique position to know and understand individual game developers on a level that most companies and organizations cannot. While we’ve always had a very good pulse on how developers anecdotally feel about their work and their industry, we haven’t always been consistent in capturing and conveying that insight.
